Large Format Gantry
Designed for the CEFS group at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln, this system employs a 300 W femtosecond laser for surface texturing 1x2 meter parts.
Production Style Tool
This system was designed for operator safety and ease of use, with a class 1 enclosure and automated sub-systems. It currently serves as the primary tool for our applications lab.
The Original
Built in 2019 for a US defense contractor, this 5-axis gimbal system was 6D Laser's first commissioned design. It and it's sister system (owned by the CEFS group) are still in operation today.
